Rig a Jig Jig

This term our music teacher 'Singing Sara' is teaching us a new song called 'Rig a Jig Jig'. This song encourages the children to make different friends. The children are standing in a big circle and waiting to be chosen by a child who is walking around in the middle, then the two friends will have a dance, as the rest of the children clap their hands. After that, one of them will go so another friend is chosen for a dance. 

We have been practicing this song for a while and the children love to be engaged in this play. Especially Alana, she knew that she already had a turn and so she waited for Carly to chose someone else.
