Impact on the world around me.

What impact do I have on the world around me? What am I capable of? What can I achieve on my own? What are the boundaries?
As educators we are asking ourselves this question as if we are looking at the world the same way children do.

Cooper is exploring the texture of the sand, and discovering that it isnt very nice to eat. But he can dig little holes all over the sandpit.
Sebastian and Richard take turns at opening and closing the oven door and turning the dials.
Richard saw the ball hanging off the string so he went and found a bat, he proceeded to hit the ball with the bat. Great hand eye coordination.

When children have endless oppurtunities to explore their environment around them they develop confidence, self help skills, developmental skills and great friendships along the way.
