Sam walks his dogs

Pre-School Ones interest in imaginary/fantasy play is forever present in their day to day learning.

Sam is taking his dogs Cracky and Bennie for a walk to the local 'dog park'.
They have a drink from their dog bowl and set off for a walk.

There are three actors in this play, the dog owner and his two dogs. The three actors are acting out feelings belonging to someone else. They are prompting each other , picking up cues, and stimulating different ideas. Although the children are engaged in fantasy play, they are adopting a real life situation which they have experienced.
