Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Over the past two weeks the children in Pre-School One have developed a growing passion for puppets, particularly 'finger puppets'. In the video the children are enjoying narrating the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. They are using finger puppets and props from the dolls house, as well bits and pieces from the family corner.

Notice the fluency of language, as they speak confidently in front of others. They use their memory and imagination to tell the story, and are able to use the finger puppets and props during the story telling.

The children 'turn take' as they let others in the group contribute by filling in words and letting others tell small parts of the story. The narrators in the story are able to change their voices as they take on different roles in the narration, such as Daddy Bear with a low voice and Goldilocks with a high voice.

The children love to be involved and to contribute to such productions. Most importantly they have a developing ability to enjoy and socialise with their friends, whilst having fun.
